Black Creek Mobile Vet Philosophy of care: Honouring the bond, the life, and the love shared with your beloved companion animal

End-of-Life Veterinary Services in the Comfort of Your Home

Creating, supporting, and honouring peaceful last shared moments
with your pet in the comfort of home

End-of-Life is a uniquely challenging time for pets and their families; as caregivers brave the daily dilemma of assessing quality of life for their beloved pet.

We are passionate about providing supportive and caring professional guidance including quality of life consultations, in-home euthanasia and aftercare.

Our goal is to ensure families feel supported, comforted, and prepared; ultimately strengthening the human-animal bond and creating the most meaningful End-of-Life experience possible.

Compassionate End-of-Life Mobile Veterinary Services

Quality of Life consultations are an ideal place to start in your End-of-Life journey with your pet. We look at caregiver and pet considerations in providing guidance in the decision-making process, supporting what is best for the family as a whole.

Available as Telehealth appointment only.

We are here to respectfully support you through your last loving act of kindness with your beloved pet. In-Home euthanasia offers you time to say goodbye at home surrounded by love and comfort, providing the most peaceful experience possible.

We partner with Gateway Pet Memorial for your pet’s cremation and memorialization options, including urns, keepsakes and treasured paw prints. We pride ourselves in caring for your pet with the utmost dignity, compassion, and respect.

You know your pet best.
You are the ultimate decision-maker.

We are here to honour and support that role in End-of-Life decision-making
helping you through the path of least regrets.

The Value and Comfort of
In-Home End-of-Life Veterinary Services

At home, pets are less stressed, less anxious and more relaxed and so are their people.

End-of-Life is an intensely personal, emotional, and difficult time for many pet lovers and caregivers. Providing End-of-Life care at home is a more comfortable experience for everyone, allowing a more personalized exploration of the entire family’s beliefs, fears, expectations and goals of care.

This time can be very overwhelming and there are many aspects to consider when caring for pets during their final stage of life — being at home allows more focused and in-depth discussions with adequate time to ask questions and help people feel more prepared and make informed decisions.

When the time comes to say goodbye at home, there is privacy and comfort in familiar surroundings, allowing clients to openly grieve the loss as they need in that moment.
